Ho Firm

Public Assayer

Notes:

According to the History of  宣威縣 Hsuan Wei County (in Yunnan Province), the Ho Firm was a famous silver shop in the region which cast sycee of a fineness of up to 90%, while those cast by other shops were only 80% fine. Therefore, Ho Firm was given the name of "Gong Gu" (Public Assayer) by the locals.
