引 Ying--Vendor's license for salt or tea. In China, tea and salt were both a business monopolized by the government, and merchants had to pay a license fee before purchasing them from producers. Each "Ying" (License), normally permitted the vendor to purchase and resell an amount of tea or salt equal to 400 Chinese catty. (1 Chinese catty is about 0.5 kg)
